World Vision Australia Reconciliation Action Plan

Founded over 50 years ago, World Vision Australia has long engaged in community development and support across the country, particularly in First Nations regions such as the Pilbara, Kimberley and remote parts of NSW and Victoria. Their programs range from early childhood development to youth empowerment (e.g., Martu Leadership Program, Young Mob), and broader initiatives such as Channels of Hope tackling domestic violence within faith communities.

For World Vision Australia (WVA), Innovate RAP 2025–2027 is both a milestone and a springboard—closely aligned with Australia’s broader Closing the Gap reforms and the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. The Innovate RAP includes joint messages from Board Chair Peter Trent and CEO, emphasising WVA’s 50-year “solidarity” with First Nations Australians and commitment to embedding reconciliation “into our daily work as a Christian, child-focused aid and development charity”

The process

We began the design process by vectorising the stunning artwork provided by World Vision Australia, created by Aboriginal artist Bayley Mifsud. Our goal was to create a layout that honoured both the artwork and the impactful work of World Vision, using simple, thoughtful design elements to bring the content to life.
