Creating a Reconciliation identity for a global educational leader.
Edmund Rice Education, a global leader in education, collaborated with us to develop and launch their first Reconciliation Action Plan.
When Edmund Rice Education Australia embarked on developing its first Reconciliation Action Plan, it sought a visual identity that reflected its commitment to reconciliation, inclusion and lasting relationships with First Nations peoples.
We began the process with a contemporary artwork supplied by Edmund Rice Education created by Townsville based First Nations artist Robert Paul.
Through the artwork vectorisation stage we extracted elements and created a contemporary First Nations design style that brings Edmund Rice Australias Reconciliation journey to life. The artwork and design captures the organisation’s journey towards reconciliation while honouring the enduring connections between people, place, culture and education. The result is a distinctive visual language that extends beyond the RAP itself, providing a meaningful foundation for future storytelling and engagement.
Throughout the design process…
Ensuring that the suit of visual elements extracted from the original artwork....
We acknowledge the Traditional Lands on which we work and live, sovereignty never ceded and pay respect to our elders, past and present who provide inspiration for what we do daily. We acknowledge the pivotal role that our people continue to play within our communities and our younger generations who will lead us forward.
