We were delighted to assist the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials in sharing their journey of Reconciliation through a distinctive design and layout for their RAP.
When the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Material (AICCM) approached us with a limited budget and an initial draft of their Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) design and layout, we recognised an opportunity to support an organisation dedicated to preserving items of cultural and historical significance. Given their important mission, we were eager to contribute our expertise low-bono to create something that truly tells their story of Reconciliation.
The AICCM is an organisation that plays a crucial role in preserving Australia’s cultural heritage. Their work ensures that future generations can access and appreciate the cultural and historical artifacts that define our collective history. Recognising the significance of their mission, particularly in the context of Reconciliation, we aimed to create a RAP that would reflect their values and goals.
Working with the AICCM on their RAP was a rewarding experience that underscored the importance of supporting organisations committed to cultural preservation and Reconciliation. It was an honour to contribute to a project that aligns so closely with values of inclusivity, respect, and historical preservation.
The final Reconciliation Action Plan is a beautifully designed document that not only met but exceeded the AICCM’s expectations. It successfully conveyed their dedication to Reconciliation and their ongoing efforts to support and celebrate Indigenous cultures.
