We were ecstatic to be asked by such a global company as AECOM to produce such a significant design and importantly excited to be working for a company that really puts the leg work on the ground to building a more inclusive and better world.
Our main contacts both in Cairns and Townsville offices were absolute wonders to work with and generated the enthusiasm for the project that everyone loves to see. We went about creating sketchpad after sketchpad until we got to what we thought would be representative of AECOM and its Reconciliation commitments.
Often we ask our clients if they prefer to work with their current style guides and design concepts that significantly attach to their brand recognition but are symbolic of the principles of Reconciliation through the design.
After working through concepts the Executive of AECOM loved what we presented and we continued to fine tune the design so that it could traverse elements such as the acknowledgement plaques.
Each of these plaques was laser etched wood which adds a unique element to AECOM building entrances throughout the country.
